Match the voltage first
Voltage must match your system exactly. A 60V ride needs a 60V pack and a compatible charger. Amp hours determine capacity, and therefore range, so a 58Ah pack stores more energy than a 45Ah pack at the same voltage.
Lead-acid and lithium
Lead-acid packs cost less up front, weigh more and typically need an 8 to 10 hour charge. Lithium packs weigh less, charge faster and last longer, at a higher purchase price. Do not substitute one chemistry for another without confirming the charger and controller support it.
Chargers are not interchangeable
Using the wrong charger can damage a pack or create a fire risk. Match voltage, connector type and current rating, and replace a damaged charger rather than working around it.
